Eighteen (18) years experience as an attorney in all phases of litigation at the trial, appellate, and administrative levels of the state and federal courts of Georgia.   Practice areas include:  civil rights, Title VII, torts, contract, administrative, and criminal law.  Minor practice areas include transactional, corporate, and probate law.


Roberts, et. al. v. Gov. Sonny Perdue, Georgia Supreme Court Case No. 11A1515 (290 Ga. 705), successfully argued before the Supreme Court and secured a reversal of the Governor’s decision and order removing members of a county board of education.

Williamsonv. Dept. ofHumanResources, 258 Ga. App. 113, 572 S.E.2d 678 (2002) which held that the state of Georgia could not selectively cloak itself in sovereign immunity as to American with Disability Act (“ADA”) claims without violating Supremacy Clause of federal constitution thereby extending ADA protection to state employees in the state courts of Georgia.

Beal-Parker v. DeKalb Cnty. Bd. of Educ., Superior Court of DeKalb County, Civil Action No. 08-CV-3535-6 (2010), successfully tried at administrative level and then appealed through administrative tribunal and courts, the reversal, full reinstatement, and back-pay for educator wrongfully terminated by school system.

Moody v. Harris, et. al., State Court of Richmond County, Civ. Action No. 2003-RCSC-111 (2007), which involved the successful trial to judgment and recovery of monies for slander and other claims against church and pastor on behalf of female client.

Assistant District Attorney
Assistant to the District Attorney of the Augusta Judicial Circuit and responsible for prosecuting violent and non-violent felony criminal charges.  Also, was the supervising attorney for the “misdemeanor” court of Columbia County responsible for the administration of misdemeanor cases, including the drafting of accusations, preparation and conducting of trial, and final disposition of charges on a monthly basis.
